RATES AND PACKAGES

The available species on our annual Mozambique quota include

Baboon, Buffalo, Bushbuck (Chobe), Bushpig, Blue duiker, Crocodile, Elephant, Grey duiker, Hippopotamus, Hyena, Leopard, Lichtenstein Hartebeest, Lion, Livingstone Eland, Nyala, Oribi, Red duiker, Reedbuck, Sable Antelope, Suni, Warthog and Waterbuck.

The Buffalo package consists of a safari with 7 hunting days (8 nights in camp) and a permit to hunt one Buffalo.  Other game also allowed on the -7day Buffalo hunt include Reedbuck, Bushbuck,  Warthog,  Bush pig, Red Duiker, Grey Duiker, Blue Duiker, Baboon and Suni – and possibly others depending on quota availability. 

The Buffalo may also be “swopped” for Hippo or Crocodile to enjoy the same privileges associated with the 7-day Buffalo hunt.

The basic Buffalo hunt can not be extended to allow/include other species such as Nyala, Hippo and Crocodile.   A 10-day (or longer) safari at the appropriate rate needs to be booked in these cases.

Elephant, Leopard, Lion and Sable require 14 or more hunting days.

The full range of plains game, elephant and cats may be hunted on 14-day or longer hunts, including Leopard, Buffalo, Nyala, Sable, Elephant, Lion, Hippo, Crocodile, Bushbuck, Lichtenstein Hartebeest, Reedbuck, Waterbuck, Oribi, Red duiker, Blue duiker, Grey duiker, Suni, Bush pig, Warthog, Livingstone Eland and Baboon.

To ensure quota is available, all required trophy species must be pre-arranged when making your reservation.

We are also allowed a limited amount of wing shooting with ducks, spurwing geese, crested guinea fowl, helmeted guinea fowl and francolin in the area.
